Every now and then, I receive a product that
is so unique and highly functional that it completely changes the way I initially
intended to evaluate it. The n-Tegrity Pro from n-Trance is one of the
very few that fit in this category. In fact, I'll be honest and say
that upon receiving the product, I thought it was "just another flash drive"
with advanced security features. Yes, it looks like a flash drive and
functions like a flash drive but it isn't until you actually spend some time playing with it
that you'll quickly realize it is really much more than that and certainly
deserves to be featured as a "Personal Data Manager". Not only does it
seriously focus on security right down to the biometric fingerprint reader,
but also comes loaded with a superb software suite that is honestly levels
beyond what other similar products can possibly offer. In fact, this product
took me by surprise and there's so much to cover that I had to change my
priorities in order to write this unusually long review. Stick with me
here folks and take a moment to check out what this product has to offer!

Talk about presentation! The package shipped all the way from Israel
and other than the standard product packaging, they included an excellent,
well designed press kit that provides plenty of additional info on its
unique features. In short, this extra effort certainly does make a
difference and it was then when I realized I wasn't planning on reviewing
the product I was expecting. Moving on, the drive
itself ships with a quick start guide and includes a USB extension cable and
lanyard.

In
terms of its design, there are mixed feelings. Starting with the bad,
it is honestly not the most aesthetically pleasing drive on the market.
Perhaps it is the color combo, but it looks like a flash drive that you would have
been released years ago. I don't know, it just doesn't look
"high-tech", especially when you factor in all the
innovative features built-in. However, if you do a bit of research on
their product, you'll find that they do seem to have them with additional color
options, one of which sports a much more pleasing black finish.

On
the positive side though, the drive does sport a slide out design not only
to protect the biometric sensor, but the USB connector as well. This
is always a plus as you won't have to deal with a cap you will most likely
lose in time. In addition, the built-in status/activity LED is blue,
which does at least accent the drive well.

Finally, some comparison shots against a number of other flash drives to
give you an overall idea of its size. This includes not only an older
biometric drive, but a few of what are the smallest drives currently on the
market. For what it has to offer, it is a decent sized drive. It
is significantly smaller than the
BioDrive and some other older drives.
Also, for a biometric drive, it is quite thin as well, especially when
compared to the BioDrive. It is also significantly smaller and slimmer
than the super large Corsair Padlock. An additional comparison against
the Padlock can be
